Reassembling the front suspension

Evening Folks,

Really more of the same, little steps each day. Wish I could get a full day in on Chuck's car but unfortunately that's just not in the cards.

Hi Drew, this is what I'm using.

Yesterday we talked about how to plug the holes in the engine frames.  I decided to use JB Weld and pop rivets.

The problem, holes that have been drilled in the engine frames with self tapping screws

A touch of JB Weld

Pop Rivet, will prime and paint them once dry

The suspension on the passenger side, got this put together today and the new wheel bearings installed.

Well, that's it for today, thanks for the comment Drew.
Cheers,
Lynn

  1. When I lubed my idler pulley I used red grease. While I like the SuperLube because it is mostly clear and not so messy, it is more difficult to see if it is getting flung out somewhere. Getting new bearings installed and all lubed up sure makes everything smooth and solid up front.

Nice fix on the frame hole. That should do the trick permanently.
